Keb’ Mo’ and Beth Nielsen Chapman Headline Abintra Montessori Benefit
NASHVILLE,
Tenn. --- Grammy-winning artist Keb’ Mo’ is hosting a special night of
music benefiting Abintra Montessori on Monday, January 6 at Fontanel
Studio Gallery in the round with guest artists Beth Nielsen Chapman, Hallmark Channel’s top Christmas movie co-star/singer/songwriter JT Hodges and singer/songwriter Casey Wasner with a few surprise guests as well.
Chaired
by Keb’ Mo’s wife, Robbie Brooks Moore, CEO of Kind of Blue Music
Label, the couple are teaming up with co-chair Bob Bernstein, Bonjo Java
owner, to help the preschool through eighth grade independent, nonprofit school - Nashville’s first Montessori elementary program.
“After
hosting the hugely successful monthly blues night at Fontanel where
Keb’ Mo’ special guests included Brad Paisley, Bill Medley and many of
Nashville’s finest musicians, the night in the round will certainly not
disappoint,” Moore said.
“Fontanel
Studio Gallery has been kind enough to help present the night which
will help fund needed scholarship and improvements for the 10-acre
campus.”
Moore
said Keb’ Mo’ is thrilled to be working with Chapman again as her
latest children’s album has earned 10 awards and is nominated for a
Grammy. Hodges joins the lineup as his premiere role in the Hallmark
Channel’s latest hit “Finding Christmas” is earning top ratings. Wasner
helps round out the stellar lineup and Moore is anticipating a few
wonderful surprises as well.
Founded
by a small group of parents in 1981, Abintra uses Dr. Maria
Montessori’s educational continuum helping each child reach his or her
full potential in all areas of life with activities to promote the
development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical
coordination as well as cognitive preparation for future intellectual
academic endeavors.
