Abintra Art News #1 - "Along the Path of Totality"

“Along the Path of Totality,” as suggested by a few of our exhibiting artists, is the title of our inaugural art show.  The recent solar eclipse provided a breathtaking launch of the new school year. It reactivated our curiosity and sent our imaginations sailing. The show, which includes work by many of our upper school artists, is in part a response to that awe-inspiring event. Also on display are many self-portraits and portraits of family and friends. Our newly constructed “Honey House” has the students using art to express the joy and importance of helping to care for the bees that reside here at Abintra. As we have the good fortune of having many creative adults in our community, this show also features the work by several of our guides. Please note that those students who did not yet have work ready for this show look forward to exhibiting in the near future. This exhibit will be on display in the Parent Ed room through the end of October.
